Previously, from 2003-2015, Toolshed provided specialty marketing and digital licensing services to over 350 ground-breaking artists and record labels/film companies, sports brands, and tech brands. Toolshed combined blog publicity with digital campaign strategy and record label catalog licensing, and became a powerhouse in the field, orchestrating campaigns for the first two Arcade Fire albums, several Sufjan Stevens albums, Ani DiFranco’s entire body of work from 2003-2015, Amy Ray / Indigo Girls, and many, many others.
Toolshed also licensed the catalogs of multiple independent record labels, including Touch and Go Records, Saddle Creek, Righteous Babe Records, Morr Music, PIAS, and many others.
Toolshed closed its label and artist marketing and social media division in 2015.
